Supply Chain Manager
The Supply Chain Manager will have direct responsibility for the supply chain including purchasing of materials, production planning, and inventory management. This position will rigorously apply LEAN Principles that lead to measurable results in on time delivery, increased inventory turns, cost reduction, and other productivity improvements. This position will oversee the global implementation of supply chain strategies, develops and implements methods and processes for efficient supply chains, establishes priorities, and strives for continuous improvements.

Responsibilities:
Create overall supply chain vision and develop a strategic plan for the company. Includes domestic vs international purchases along with make vs buy decisions.
Overall accountability for adherence to supply chain and cost reductions targets, supplier delivery requirements, overseeing supply planning activities, inventory plan, revising schedules and resolving cross departmental problems.
Overall accountability for organizational metrics: Specifically, Service Level >98% and Inventory Turns > 10.
Facilitate cross functional teams.
Collaboratively partner with sales and customer service to develop forecasts that support level loading production, Kanban and other Lean applications.
Collaboratively partner with Finance to a) create a TCO (total cost of ownership) model and use it when making strategic decisions; b) complete a trend analysis on spend and recommendations for savings.
Implement continuous improvement processes within and throughout the supply chain. Owner of 3 year plan for developing a Lean Supplier Base.
Define and recommend departmental objectives, prepares budgets and cost reductions targets.
Develop, monitor and analyze key performance indicators for supply chain activities along with supplier scorecards.
Job Profile:
Accountable for key organizationalmetrics : service level >98% and Inventory Turns > 10
Sets strategic vision for supply chain ? owns the A3 for Lean Supplier Base
Sets strategy for Domestic vs International buying decisions along with Make vs Buy decisions
Ensures all 4Ps are executed ? strive to decrease lead time from 6 months to 3 months
Owns ?TCO? and sets strategy to maximize
Owns supplier scorecard ? strategic vision, creation, monitoring
Supplier development : relationships, consolidation, metrics
Ensure sourcing strategy and production schedules align
CI Leader (Kaizen and lean tools) in the department
Uses Problem solving tools as needed (Toyota A3, 5 Why, etc.)
Conduct trend analysis on company spend and identify opportunities
Lead negotiations to support cost reduction (productivity improvement) goals
Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor?s Degree required or equivalent; in area of specialty preferred.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management is required.
Knowledgeable and experienced with sourcing from Asia.
Experience developing standard operating procedures for Supply Chain preferred.
Strong understanding and application of lean principles is required
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operating systems preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
