Application Support Specialist
Job Profile:
Provides second level user support of one or more of the following systems: ERP, WMS, and/or other integrated systems.
Become the expert of applicable system by using own initiative to research and investigate root cause of issues where an immediate answer is not apparent.
Analyze, implement and support both new and existing system modules, integrations, and related business systems and processes.
Test and apply patches/upgrades on a regular basis working closely with end users.
Responsible for vendor invoice review to verify accurate billing and delivered services.
Ensure that all processes are automated, with appropriate error reporting and redundancy.
Create, implement and ensure adherence to user permissions policy.
Act as the champion for the applicable system(s), ensuring that we are fully utilizing our assets and that we are following best practices.
Responsible for coaching and end user training.
Maintains excellent communication with the user community on all tasks and projects.
Seeks out own development through active participation in educational opportunities, both technical and business related.
Consults with others to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements. Assist to identify, classify, and design the functionality and flow of information.
Develop end user documentation and training material.
Develop in depth knowledge of all other business applications for backup purposes.
Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of experience in related field or a similar combination of education and experience relevant to the position.
Experience with Syspro ERP and/or WISE WMS preferred.
Thorough and comfortable with following documentation, testing, and QA processes.

Availability to work during off peak work hours when necessary to insure smooth operations during office hours - may include on-call support.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
