This role involves developing and implementing HR policies, programs, and initiatives that support our organization's mission and strategic goals.
We view the HR Director as a critical link between management and employees with an emphasis on ensuring a positive work environment, compliance with labor laws, and effective talent management.
CMC expects the Human Resource Director to:
Strategic HR Leadership - Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with the organization's overall strategic goals - Provide recommendations to senior management regarding HR policies and initiatives Talent Acquisition - Lead the recruitment and selection process:
workforce planning, job postings, interviewing, and onboarding - Develop and maintain a talented workforce Employee Relations - Oversee employee relations activities, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees - Address and resolve workplace issues and conflicts in a timely and effective manner Training and Development - Implement and manage training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth - Identify and address skill gaps within the organization Performance Management - Develop and maintain performance appraisal systems - Provide guidance on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions as needed Compensation and Benefits - Administer the compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices - Regularly assess and update the organization's compensation and benefits structure HR Compliance - Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels - Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records Workplace Safety - Oversee workplace safety and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations - Implement and monitor safety programs and policies Employee Engagement - Promote employee engagement and retention through various initiatives and programs - Foster a positive work culture and address concerns that impact employee satisfaction HR Analytics - Collect and analyze HR data to make informed decisions and support organizational goals - Provide reports and insights to senior management Candidates for this position should possess the following qualities/skills:
